street?

Sesame Street from a vinyl thing I found somewhere. I mean, that's what
it WOULD be if it were okay to sample stuff. In this case it's just a
couple of voice-actors pretending.

Funny stuff and with my two fav Sesame Street characters! Crazy...you need to send this to them! & never sounded better!

this is wonderful. bert is such a stoner, haha. jokiness aside, the music is awesome. i love when he "puts it all together"
Date: August 13, 2004 @ 12:03 PM
i've actually heard this track quite a few times now...and thought i'd
commented on it before. anyway, i totally love Bert 'n Ernie were
brillianti kept thinking of the old bertisevil site that made me laugh
so much...apart from that though the music is excellent, reminiscent of
ummagumma in parts minus the vocal smaples obviosuly
it's great the way like bert says when you put it altogether, really
cool the way you've worked all the sounds together, very abstract.
great stuff

Woh.. I'm a bit speechless really.. It's a kind of abstract jazz.. I
know it has a funny aspect to it but there's also a real artistic
intention in there (or at least that's what it seems like to me)
This is the first offering I've heard from yourself and it was certainly a surprise..
Sort of modern (or maybe modem) art for the ears..

this is INSAAAANE! i like it, the sesame street samples are badass!i
like what you did with all the parts, do you sample the music or make
it?
Date: August 21, 2004 @ 5:24 PM
The more I listen to this, the more I love it. That first soundbite is
magic and the way the piece weaves together is magic. Like Traf said,
this is modern art for your ears.

I'm rolling!
Absolutely freaking weird and beautiful. This zeros right in on a place
in me somewhere between my funnybone and my superego, utter madness.
Date: November 8, 2004 @ 8:54 AM
its ambient. but I say that only coz the beat sequencing is pretty
poor. the vivyl sample is awesome and could have been used way
better... KOol to hear the inventive use of electronic tech though.
(new media heh)
I hope this is slightly constructive criticism.

I wouldn't go as far a genius. But It's amazing how you can be so weird
and make it work. For most people, when they try to be weird, it just
sounds like they're goofing around being idiots without knowing what
they're doing.
You, on the other hand, have marked your superiority, Halaka.

Creative. I too love the demented oompa. I find the voice acting
painful only because sesame street posers should be shot, but the
concepts in here are straight-up tittilatin'. Though I'm sure it'd
totally go against your grain and you'll probably tell me to go stuff
myself with an old sneaker, I'd love to hear this crafted into a
slightly more conventional, continuous, cohesive work. Well done.

This is seriously the greatest thing I've ever heard in my life. Oh
man, it made me laugh. Brilliant piece this is going on my play list.
Absolutely Brilliant. I'm showing this to The Minister of Scissors!

this is extremely psychedelic!! i really like it. too bad bert and
ernie keep on talking through. hehe. the music is mindblowing and
confusing, in a different way than i'm used to. it's real modern
psychedelica. supercool!
Date: October 16, 2005 @ 3:55 PM
very interesting, lol... very insteresting indeed
LOLz
AAAHAHAHAHAAHA... too much man... the way he keeps going
no no, nobody liked the "more complicated"
Date: January 31, 2006 @ 9:52 AM
What? I can't believe I didn't comment on this alreadt! This is the
standard by which all other freak-out tracks are judged by, the
backwards-sounding-stuff combined w/ the Sesame Street stuff... There's
a queasy feeling of uneasyness that undercuts the silly psychedelic
nature of the piece. That's something I aim for in some of mine. I love
this thing!
Date: May 3, 2006 @ 1:56 PM
what can I say that hasn't been said ther than, what the fuck were you
guys on/thinking when this happened to explode from your mind? Too
cool...too cool
